Description
The Visitor was created in 1996 by Belgian Sculptor and Designer Guido Deleu as a part of a design contest for the main entrance of a cultural centre in Flanders, Belgium. Embodying a whimsical and pleasant silhouette, the Visitor is defined its smooth lines and its ability to add a welcoming charm to any living area.
Using an ancient lost wax method, this sculpture is skillfully hand molded in the Cores da Terre studio in Brazil. This sculpture is made from clay and only uses natural pigments.
Due to hand molding techniques and using only natural pigments, there may be slight variations in shapes and colours.

Guido Deleu
Guido Deleu is a Belgian sculptor and civil engineer whose artistic journey began at the Academy of Arts in Roeselare. Deleu’s creations in ceramic and bronze have a contemporary, sophisticated and balanced quality to them, making them the perfect complement to any interior. His most iconic creation is The Visitor sculpture.
