Raku Planter
White
The Raku Planter features a white crackle finish, which is created due to the highly reactive Raku glaze and a low-firing process that involves controlling temperature and depriving oxygen. The intense reaction of the glaze in the kiln creates random crystalline metallic areas on the white finish.
A number of variations in this process of fire, quick temperature change, and oxygen deprivation all lead to endless variations in colors and surface effects. Results can never be repeated; each piece is truly an original. Handmade in the Netherlands.
