An icon of Danish design, this vintage GE-240 Cigar Sofa was designed by Hans Wegner and manufactured by GETAMA, circa 1950s. A prime example of brilliant Danish design and carpentry, this sofa features a low profile with plush cushioning that is supported by an elegantly structured oak frame.

Hans Wegner
Nicknamed the "King of Chairs", Danish designer Hans Wegner created over 500 chairs during his career, 100 of which were mass-produced and have become design icons. Wegner belonged to the pioneering generation whose work constitutes the "Golden Age" of Danish design.
